After much publicity and a number of campaigns The Phene Pub in Chelsea was saved from development into a mansion and reopened in January 2014. The Cross Keys will follow, having been acquired by Parsons Green Land in November 2013. The pub will be retained and the upper parts converted to residential, preserving one of Chelsea’s oldest and most popular institutions, having originally opened in 1708.
